For today's task -

I have picked a funny video for you. It is a class of literature. The teacher deals with two books, To Kill a Mocking Bird and Of Mice and Men. First, read their summaries here and here.  It is important you read the summaries first. Then, watch the video. Then, try to answer the question - What issues related to teaching of literature are highlighted in the video? You can have a discussion about what all of you think and then answer in groups.

1. What are some of the views of scholars related to teaching of literature in language classroom?
2. What are the three models of teaching literature as proposed by Carter and Long? Explain them in your words. Which model would you prefer? Why?
